The recent presidential election had our entire nation’s attention focused on two people: Barack Obama and Mitt Romney.  However, people from all over the world were tuned in to the American political occasion.

One young woman in particular, Millicent Owuor, from South-West Kenya, was so enamored with the two candidates she decided to name her twin babies after the two presidential candidates.

The 20-year old mom gave birth to her two baby boys Barack and Mitt on the day of the election.  Ironically, the village where the twins were born is near to the village of Kogelo where President Barack Obama’s father was born.
