No–a lusty night of passion on this southern beach won’t necessarily do it, but touching the fertility statues on display at the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum there apparently will. When the five-foot-tall wooden statues from Africa’s Ivory Coast were in the company’s Orlando headquarters in 1993, 13 women became pregnant within months.
NEED MORE PROOF?
Okay. Since then, the statues have been on diplay around the world and, according to the company, more than 2,000 women have reported getting pregnant after touching the statues, which will be on display at Ripley’s through the first of March. They’ll let couples who want to have a baby touch the statues for free during business hours. Believe It Or Not!
DID IT WORK FOR YOU?
I am waiting to hear. If you go to Myrtle Beach, touch those fertility statues and get pregnant soon after, PLEASE let me know. If it works for you, it will work for others. I put out the Ripley’s museums schedule for when and where these baby-boosters are appearing!
Meanwhile, let’s talk about some great baby gifts for babies born to couples who got pregnant as a result of touching a fertility statue. Clearly, there’s more than meets the eye in the beliefs and practices of other cultures, and Corner Stork Baby Gifts has many unique baby gifts that bring those mystical powers to the nursery.
I’ll start with the “Huggable Feng Shui Bunny” Plush Toy. Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese art and science, is a complex body of knowledge that reveals how to balance the energies of any given space to assure the health and good fortune for people inhabiting it–a wonderful gift for a newborn. In the center of bunny’s body is a round, velvety decoration with the Chinese characters for “luck” and “fortune” embroidered in bright green. Think of it as cuddly karma!
Elephants are symbols worldwide for strength, courage, stature and intelligence. Put these adorable “The Wonderful World Of Elephants” Baby Socks on those tiny feet and watch baby grow up smart and strong!
