Winter is a wonderful time to have a baby. The nesting kicks in right around the holiday season and you’re able to cozy up and relax all winter while snuggling the new baby. So naturally, winter is the perfect time for a baby shower too! Today we’re sharing a winter pine-inspired baby shower for all of the winter mamas-to-be.
There are so many simple and beautiful ways to decorate your shower space with pine & evergreen branches. Single branches set in vintage jars or bottles become elegant centerpiece arrangements, and pine garland hanging from the sweets table adds the perfect amount of greenery without being overpowering.
Another wonderful thing about this winter pine inspired baby shower is it’s simplicity that is carried throughout the party – including in the signage. Come up with simply lettered chalkboard or wood signage for the entry way, the food table and for mom to keep for her new nursery. White lettering on black chalkboards or reclaimed wood adds a special feeling to this shower.
Set Aside Time for DIY
Instead of the traditional baby shower games, opt for a DIY project for guests to take home! It encourages guests to get creative and chat with other attendees, and they get to walk away with something sweet to remember the shower by. Try creating a frosty white pinecone garland or an evergreen mason jar snow globe – your guests will love DIYing them and using them in their own holiday decor!
