Winter Party Theme: A Winter Wonderland

A fun way to host a child’s winter birthday party is to create a winter wonderland.

Start off with fun treats – cookies and cupcakes decorated festively with marshmallow ‘snowballs’ hanging as garland and sprinkled around the party space. A color palette of icy blues and whites creates a magical scene, and different shapes and sizes of snowflakes hanging from the ceiling makes for fun and simple decorations.

If you’re lucky enough to have snow on the ground, take all the kiddos outside and have a snowman building contest, and if there’s no snow, opt for a make shift snowball fight with mittens and wiffle balls – check out the tutorial here.
