A Baby Blues Nursery

While blue is generally a color for boys, this baby blues nursery could work for either gender. With an indigo dip-dye feel and plenty of patterns, it almost works as a neutral in this nursery.

Blue basics are key here – replace a neutral gray glider with a navy rocker and add a multi patterned rug to the floor to add some padding. Wall decals can be used to spruce up things other than the walls – add them to a toy box or dresser to give the piece a whole new look.

For the walls, think light and simple. A blue map of the world or a watercolored piece look wonderfully framed in white, and when you add soft linens and pillows into the space you get a comfy and simple room for your little babe.
