In addition to the health benefits of drinking a cup of tea, we now know that drinking tea can also help increase women’s chances of getting pregnant.

A Boston University study found that women who drank two cups a day while trying to conceive were 27% more likely to get pregnant than nonsippers!

“There are hundreds of beneficial compounds in tea, and it’s possible that one or more of them may play a role in fertility,” speculates lead researcher Elizabeth Hatch, Ph.D., who adds that more research is needed to pinpoint the exact mechanism.

The study also revealed what not to imbibe when you’re trying to conceive: Daily soda drinkers had a 20% lower chance of adding to their family.
