Where I live, it still looked like winter this past Friday—I saw no signs of spring. When I ran my errands the very next day (Saturday, March 20, the first day of spring,) everywhere I looked there were blooming Japanese tulip trees, Bradford pear trees and daffodils popping up! Poof! Suddenly, it was spring! Either I wasn’t paying attention before, or Mother Nature’s spring alarm clock went off right on schedule.
My Inspiration for Today’s Post!
Part of my Saturday morning was spent at a children’s fashion show at Nordstrom. My two little nieces were models–one is seven, the other is a toddler–and the clothes all the models wore were adorable! Fast-forward to this morning–spring things are still on my mind and, since I’m all about baby gifts, I thought I’d bring you some cute spring baby gifts to celebrate the season.

In honor of the two little runway models in my family, I’m going to start with an absolutely precious outfit for a newborn girl. The “Li’l Chick” Seersucker Bubble Romper you see on the left has layers of pink ruffles and a fabric flower on the front, and it coordinates with other Lil’ Chick products you’ll find on Corner Stork. Now, because spring welcomes butterflies, blooms and baseball, let’s hit one out of the park for the little guys! At the right is our “All Boy” Baseball Shortall. In classic red, white and blue, the gingham shortall features an oversized glove and baseball on the front with contrasting shoulder buttons. If you’re looking for a gift for a newborn boy, this is a great catch!
Here Comes Crazy!
You’re going to love these new dolls and, yes, they’re called Crazy Dolls! I think you can see why, and as we all know, crazy can be a lot of fun! Crazy Dolls come in a variety of styles, wild fabric prints and doll names, like Olivia, Ellie, Nikki, Alice, Chelsea and Violet. Olivia, the doll on the left, is cute as can be with her fabric hair and perky playtime dress in shades of bright green and pink. On the right is Nikki, and this versatile doll is a puppet, a rattle and a blankie for baby, too! Boom! Boom! Ain’t it great to be CRA-ZEE!
