So mega-twin Ashley Olsen was recently seen canoodling with master-biker Lance Armstrong in the Rose Bar in NYC’s Gramercy Park Hotel. Just for the record, she’s 21 and he’s 36. Nothing illegal, of course, but eeewwwwww. When Ashley was dating restauranteur Scott Sartiano, who was only 30, people–including her parents–thought he was out of her age range.
Let’s figure out the attraction. For Lance, it’s easy. She’s a 21-year-old hottie with more money than many oil-producing Arab nations. I don’t know her personally, and I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt that she’s a riveting conversationalist. That about covers it. But what’s Ashley’s draw? Muscular calves? A riveting conversationalist? (Again, the benefit of the doubt.) Here’s another possibility–having been half of perhaps the most popular twins in celeb history, perhaps she’s attracted to his one testicle, envying its solitude after years of being similarly paired. Maybe it symbolizes the possibility of escaping “identical” hell. Maybe it’s just that he’s older. She’s apparently into older guys. Why? Father figures? More mature than guys nearer her own age? Better lovers? Nosy minds want to know…
In the end, I’m sure it doesn’t matter. Since his divorce, Lance has hooked up with several women, most notably Sheryl Crow. Ashley’s had her share of relationships, too, so there’s no reason to expect that this one will go the distance. I’ll be curious to see who’s next for Ashley. Jack Nicholson, are you listening?
